Companion Animal Marketing Manager

 

Description:

Approximately 80% of your time will focus on creating and managing marketing campaigns for Companion Animal products to meet sales targets and support company goals. About 20% of your time will provide technical support for these products.

  • Initiate and coordinate marketing campaigns and product launches with the Marketing Associate, Sales Team, Veterinary Technical Manager, and Companion Animal Business Unit Director.
  • Ensure timely availability of product literature within budget and compliance, including technical reviews.
  • Assist account managers to boost sales activity.
  • Deliver presentations to customers and clients on Animal Health products and disease support, addressing complaints to ensure proper product use.
  • Represent Animal Health at meetings, congresses, and exhibitions to promote our brand and engage with industry influencers.
  • Monitor the CA market for new and existing products to drive business and create market opportunities.
  • Align local campaigns with international marketing efforts.
  • Allocate and manage advertising and promotional budgets for CA products in agreement with the CA BU Director.
  • Prepare materials for and attend CA sales meetings.
  • Manage and participate in CA project groups.
  • Conduct monthly sales forecasting and stock control with the CA BU Director and customer services team.
  • Record and adhere to advertising and promotional budgets within CA BU.
  • Monitor pricing and report deviations or competition issues to the CA BU Director.

Do You Have:

  • Advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in marketing or technical support, ideally in the companion animal veterinary product sector in Ireland.
  • Self-motivated with strong decision-making, communication, and IT skills, particularly with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of budgetary control and project management is desirable.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, time management, and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and identify and exploit new business opportunities.
  • Team player with energy and resourcefulness to initiate and manage change.
