Company Accountant

Description:

Armont Recruitment have partnered with an established real estate firm seeking a Company Accountant to oversee the finance department based within their head office in Kildare.

You will join a business with a large portfolio of both residential and commercial property. The role will work closely with senior stakeholders with one direct report, in a well structure environment contributing to business success.

The successful candidate will preferably be a qualified accountant with SME practice experience seeking an initial move to industry or coming from a similar industry environment.

The Role

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Prepare quarterly company sales reports and quarterly management accounts
• Managing monthly and bi-monthly tax returns
• Bank Reconciliations and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll – including calculating commissions payable, submissions to revenue re taxes & new enhanced reporting requirements
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Other ad hoc requests

The Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) or qualified by experience
• SME practice or industry experience
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts
• Strong leadership and communication skills
