Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure construction activities meet applicable laws, codes, and industry standards (OSHA, EPA, building codes, etc.).
- Health & Safety: Monitor and enforce safety regulations on-site, conduct inspections, and address hazards.
- Risk Management: Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Training & Education: Develop and deliver training on compliance and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain records of audits, safety reports, and compliance activities. Provide regular compliance updates to management.
- Permit Management: Ensure necessary permits are obtained and maintained.
- Audit & Inspection: Conduct site audits to verify adherence to regulations and address non-compliance.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in compliance or safety roles in construction.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour, CSP, or similar certification preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and risk management.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with compliance software.
- Attributes: High integrity, problem-solving ability, and calm under pressure.
