Description:
As a UX content designer at HubSpot, you'll have the opportunity to do meaningful product work that makes a difference to businesses around the world.
You'll partner with product teams to identify hard problems and own their solutions. You'll work closely with product managers, product designers, UX researchers, engineers, product analysts, and other cross-functional partners to make complex concepts clear, efficient, and even enjoyable for our customers.
It's the best of both worlds: you'll partner with small, highly iterative product teams while enjoying the support, community, and resources of a large, experienced UX organization that includes about 30 UX content designers and nearly 200 other designers and researchers.
Our content designers care about creating great customer experiences while also generating impact for our business. We're looking for people who can be creative and persistent about achieving both without sacrificing one for the other.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL
Design, deliver, and iterate on end-to-end billing experiences:
- Collaborate with product teams to design seamless billing experiences that meet the needs of our customers and align with business objectives
- Continuously iterate on billing content to ensure clarity, simplicity, and user-friendly language
- Explore innovative ways to solving billing-related challenges through effective content design solutions
Deliver clear and meaningful content:
- Create and maintain clear, concise, and meaningful language for billing-related content, such as invoices, billing statements, renewals, and payment instructions
- Ensure that all content effectively communicates important information related to billing processes, pricing, and payment options
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback to refine and improve content design
Prioritize and manage work:
- Holistically assess, scope, and prioritize content design work for multiple teams, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery aligned with project goals
- Identify, evaluate and prioritize content design tasks, considering the impact on customer experience and business outcomes
- Regularly present ideas and work grounded in content design standards, best practices and customer+business rationale, then iterate based on stakeholder input
Build cross-functional relationships:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners, including product managers, engineers, and designers
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and incorporate their feedback
Advocate for global-first practices:
- Champion accessibility and inclusive principles in all content design, making sure billing information is easily understood and accessible to all users.
- Learn and become fluent in the HubSpot's design system and our content design systems and tools.
