Contract Manager

 

Description:

 

Reporting to the European Head of Procurement we are seeking to appoint a Procurement and Contracts Manager to work with European Entities for Technology, Resourcing and Cloud agreements. This includes creating commercial plans, sourcing, ensuring delivery of a ensuring effective cost & risk management.

Leading an Entity and/or Category, this role will create relationships with key senior stakeholder across the European businesses and Global procurement to understand business

priorities and connect procurement with business goals. It will also lead relationshipmanagement and negotiation with various suppliers and vendors across the pan-European business to drive strategic value, deliver exceptional customer service, cost optimisation and risk management.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive the procurement and contracts management strategy and processes for the Entity and/or Category, ensuring alignment with business goals

• Build relationships and partner with key senior stakeholders and senior leaders to understand the business priorities and objectives and translate these into the overall procurement direction

• Define stretching and commercial procurement targets and opportunities to deliver on these

• Ensure all goods and services supplied to the Entity via the procurement team deliver service, value and cost optimisation

• Be responsible for guidance on Supplier Management

• Lead negotiations on critical contracts and ensure adequate reviews are performed at least annually

• Manage risk to ensure that the Entity is protected by secure fully negotiated contracts and any known risks associated with contracts are pre-empted and responsibility for managing same is understood by contract owners.

• Build strong working relationships with Global Procurement to ensure we leverage the power of the collective in our commercial decision making and optimising governance and processes

• Be a key contributor to the annual planning and budgeting process for all regions.
