Description:
This is an excellent chance for an experienced underwriter to gain valuable exposure within a thriving financial lending institution.
Duties;
- Gather information about clients including financial briefs e.g credit history, financial transactions etc
- Reviewing the financial data of clients and analysing creditworthiness for loan application
- Assist debtors in order to help fill relevant loan application forms and submit loans to the loan committees for approval
- Review problem accounts where necessary
What you need;
- At least 2 years experience in credit underwriting / analytics
- A strong understanding of unsecured consumer lending and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software systems
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as SAS, Python and other languages
- Good organisation skills and high attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical skills
