This role will be based in our Haleon Dublin office and will report to the Sales Channel Controller. This will be a Hybrid working role with 2-3 days on site in our Dublin City West office.
The purpose of this role is:
- To implement customer strategic plans, achieving set commercial targets including Net Revenue, Profit, Business Growth and Category Share above market growth
- To act as a lead for the category across all functions and in the eyes of the customer.
- This role requires a passionate and determined individual who has a proactive approach to work and a self starter attitude to learning and developing themselves.
- Due to the strategic nature of this role, the individual will need to be able to work cross-functionally (Commercial Strategy, Category, Marketing, Supply) to drive category and brand performance in their customer.
- To own the P&L, driving for results and best in class execution.
- To be an expert in the Grocery channel and understand how to manage a complex grocery customer.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- FMCG industry experience would be a benefit.
- Understanding of how an Account Manager/Buyer relationship functions.
- Broad business knowledge and market understanding.
- Experience of building relationships at all levels within an external organisation.
- A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach in the role is key to building and sustaining new long term relationships.
- Financial numeracy to be able to build strategically sound, financially robust proposals that exploit opportunities.
- Previous Account Management experience in FMCG with proven results.
- Good understanding and insight into Category Management principles.
