Customer & Planning Support Administrator

 

Description:

As a Customer & Planning Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in coordinating production schedules, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operations between our customers and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Customer Interaction: Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their orders and queries are handled efficiently.

Order Management: Process customer orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure schedules align with production capacity.

Production Scheduling: Create and manage work orders, ensuring a level-loaded schedule to optimise production efficiency.

Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate any potential delays or challenges in meeting customer requirements, working cross-functionally to resolve them.

Reporting & Insights: Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior management, providing key insights into scheduling and production efficiency.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and improve internal processes.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Experience: 1-2+ years in a customer service, planning, or scheduling role.

Education: A degree or certificate in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/Customer Management Systems is a plus.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong customer relationships.

Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Organisation & Planning: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
