CarTrawler’s Trading Team are looking for an Analyst to join their Pricing & Analytics team to support the day-to-day management of performance through data lead decision making.

• Degree or masters in fields such as Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze and visualize data in a clear and concise manner (e.g., Tableau or similar tools)
• Excellent ability to show creative initiative and work collaboratively to solve those analytical problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to work as part of a team
• Proven data analysis experience with Excel or Google sheets
• Experience with coding languages such as SQL, R, Python etc is desirable but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly new skills and processes
• Work cross-functionally within a Trading Squad to support the day-to-day management of trading P/L performance
• Work directly within CarTrawler’s Data Analytics community to solve problems collaboratively and promote personal development and learning
• Responsible for the day-to-day pricing management of a portfolio of B2B Partners
• Manage and execute day to day pricing tests, analyse the results and take corrective actions thereafter (via A/B Testing and MVT Testing)
• Work closely with your Trading Squad colleagues and be agile in addressing trading performance issues and highlighting areas of concern
• Formulate business needs into problem statements that can be interpreted by supporting teams around the business (E.g., Data Science, P&T, Supply etc)
• Perform deep dive analysis into pricing performance to help the Trading Squad and Partners understand pricing performance and the impact of pricing decisions on Financial Performance
• Work within the wider Trading Analytics & Optimisations team to share learnings and strategies deployed across business
