Our client, a leading asset management company is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst you will to generate, analyse and present information for key operational and business activities in order to deliver insightful analysis and reporting to support Business Managers and Senior Management Team.
The successful individual will have responsibility for key Regulatory Reporting, working cross functionally and dealing with external stakeholders. This is a full-time contract (23 months) role based in Dublin.
- Responsible for key client, internal & regulatory reporting and working cross functionally to ensure the highest data integrity at all times.
- Provide robust & reliable business reporting and analysis in a user-friendly format which meets the needs of operational/business leaders and their teams, while ensuring all reporting aligns to internal standards and eventual discrepancies are explained, documented and remediated as appropriate.
- Design and establish systems, processes and dashboards for the production and analysis of quality management information to support management decision making.
- Identify areas for automation and process improvement.
- Demonstrate ability to take initiative and work proactively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver insightful analysis and reporting to support management and internal stakeholders in closely monitoring performance of portfolios / trends / topical discussion items.
- Be able to clearly communicate in a non-technical manner to our clients and other stakeholders
- Active use and promotion of technologies, including Tableau & Snowflake.
- Respond to client and internal queries in timely & efficient manner.
- Develop and update formal procedures, documentation and templates for assessment and analysis of data as necessary.
- Previous experience in using SAS or SQL coding/scripting is essential.
- Previous experience of producing and analysing a wide range of management information in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience within financial services and exposure to a range of asset types including residential, mortgages, commercial real estate mortgages and consumer finance products.
- Previous experience of presenting management information to senior management.
- Experience working with data warehouse structures.
- Process improvement experience.
