Data Security And Privacy Manager

Description:

You’ll be the Subject Matter Expert within the Data Advisory team within Product Engineering to review and risk assess complex Product Engineering projects that handle personal data that adheres EU and UK Data Protection Legislation, You’ll be involved in projects like cloud-based processing, software development, Mobile Apps, in-vehicle infotainment features, Assisted and Automotive Driving technologies, Connected vehicle products/services.

The role will advise Engineering colleagues on the Privacy requirements that their project must comply by identifying and articulating: high risk processing, complex data flows, the role of third parties' handling data, international data transfers, industry specific guidelines, data minimisation techniques and data subject rights adherence

Skills/Experience Needed

Strong proven experience working as a dedicated Privacy professional. Previous experience advising on technical/ technology-based processes e.g. Engineering, IT, Software Development, Automotive, Banking. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The ability to communicate complex legal arguments to Engineering colleagues.
