Debt Advisory Director

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior corporate advisory professional looking to further develop their career in a fast-paced, high growth environment. Our team is responsible for providing integrated investment banking advisory services to publicly quoted and privately owned / semi-state businesses across a wide range of sectors and industries. We help our clients to raise capital, carry out refinancings, issue bonds, and access alternative and structured finance solutions that optimise terms and minimise risk. Our Debt Advisory team has detailed knowledge and insight across the debt markets including corporate debt, leveraged finance, structured finance, real estate finance and Debt Capital Markets.

Business Accountabilities

• Preparing and executing on all aspects of debt advisory mandates
• Client facing interaction with senior decision-making executives on a day-to-day basis
• Originating new debt advisory mandates
• Preparing presentations and pitches, research and analysis
• Mentoring and leading project teams and direct reports
• Representing Goodbody at external industry events, conferences etc.
• Continuous improvement of our own service delivery and practice

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years’ debt advisory and banking transaction experience, with a proven track record of advising on or executing corporate transactions
• Chartered Financial Analyst or Accountant
• Masters / Primary degree or relevant professional qualification
• Experience working with ESG, DCM, infrastructure and corporate finance teams to generate and execute other transactions
