As part of Enterprise Services, Facilities Management (FM) team, provide a strategic role in enabling ESB to safely, effectively and efficiently manage buildings and the facilities assets there in, aligning to ESB’s brighter future strategy. FM manage all building services to circa 140 premises across the ESB estate. This includes asset management, asset maintenance and replacement, also strategic asset planning, fabric refurbishment projects and capital works along with the provision of all soft services including cleaning, catering, landscaping and building services etc. The main services are provided through large complex and integrated contracts managed by the FM team (€80m+) and a capital and remedial work programme of approx. €10-€15m annually.

Demand Management is a new function being introduced to enable the prioritisation of projects and allocation of resources based on the business criticality and be the key interface for demand management and prioritisation between the business and FM. This new role is a key support role supporting the Demand & Operations manager in ensuring plans resources and systems are in place to support the delivery of various projects and programmes of works/services. A key feature of the role is managing Governance, Compliance, Financial and Business Reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly motivated Facilities Management Team delivering professional and efficient FM services for ESB.

This role will report to Demand and Operations Manager, Head Office.

  • Supporting the development and implementation of a model for managing the intake of FM projects/programmes of works.
  • Responsible for day- to-day operation of same and ensuring standardisation.
  • Responsible for managing FM governance, compliance finance and business reporting.
  • Responsible for maintaining schedule of Portfolio of Facilities projects / works for each year and a dashboard reporting on progress, finances, risks and issues.
  • Responsible for providing data analytics and reports, leveraging data analytics and insights to identify trends and opportunities for synergies and work programme, long term contract requirements and supporting strong decision making.
  • Working closely with wider FM team, structure for project demands, service requests and maintenance requests to ensure end to service delivery for customer in professional and structured manner and providing support.
  • Managing stakeholders working with D&P Manager acting as main interface between the business and Facilities, supporting and enabling managing strong collaboration across ESB and Facilities team.
  • Responsible for ensuring process managed for good governance oversight ensuring all financial budgets and approvals in place prior to project allocation.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining an overall sourcing plan which includes examining different sourcing options and alternatives to ensure supply capacities to meet work demands working within facilities contract management model through provision of data and reports.
