Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking manages some of the Bank's largest and most prestigious domestic and international names. Corporate Banking Ireland & NI ('CBINI') is responsible for large corporations including private companies, PLCs, multinationals, financial institutions/IFSC groups, semi-states and other large companies.
The Food & Agriculture/Other Team has responsibility for all aspects of the ongoing development and management (including risk assessment) of large corporates across a variety of food, agriculture and other sectors, either domestically headquartered or with an active presence in Ireland and overseas. The team handles a large loan portfolio and cross sells the Group's full suite of products and services.

The key elements of this role encompass client relationship & risk management for key mid to large sized clients, incorporating credit & risk assessment and sales & cross-selling of Group products while supporting the wider team /division objectives from a strategy, compliance, data quality and operational perspective.
Relationship management of a portfolio of mid to large sized existing customers in a number of industry sectors, geographies and corporate types.
Timely completion of credit papers and reviews through the in-depth assessment of financial / non-financial information and risk analysis, ensuring a detailed and balanced evaluation of the information available.
Proactive development of potential business growth opportunities from within the portfolio.
Build and maintain strong working relationships internally across The Group and externally (including participation in customer meetings and attendance at social events).
Preparation and review of facility offer letters and other legal and operational documentation.
Keen awareness of the importance of risk culture, including adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory controls.
Efficient credit, financial analysis and report writing skills.
Strong analytical skills with a problem solving ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ambitious, driven and resilient individual, with ability to multi-task and work to differing timeframes.
Willingness to learn new systems.
Proficient in Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
Strong ability to work on own initiative while working in a team environment.
