Description:
The companies we are helping delivers Cabin, Structures and Avionics upgrade solutions for the
modification of in-service aircraft through their design, (21J), Production (21G)
and Maintenance (Part 145) approvals to airlines, lessors and MROs worldwide.
They are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in certification to join their
growing engineering team to carry out major (STCs) and minor modifications
and repairs on large and small aircraft and rotorcraft.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
Under the supervision of the HoD the Design Engineer is in charge of the
following activities:
• Compile and ensure the adequacy and consistency of compliance
demonstration documents and activities subject to approval are prepared
in compliance with the certification and environmental protection
requirements as required by Part 21
• Support transversal areas and stakeholders such as manufacturing,
production and procurement.
• Attend working Party phases / Installations on A/C
• Assist CVEs in their compliance verification activities
• Report to the Project Certification Coordinator with the progress of
certification activities
• Report to the Head of Independent System Monitoring any issues
impacting the Design Organization
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Aeronautical Engineer qualified in a recognized discipline
• At least 3 years in a similar role, a track record of previous participation in
design and certification activities (cabin safety, structures and or avionics)
• Experience working on aircraft and conducting aircraft surveys is a plus
