Engineers Ireland is the professional body for engineers and engineering in Ireland are recruiting for a full-time role within the Marketing and Communications team which leads Engineers Ireland’s corporate communications, strategic marketing and stakeholder engagement. Our digital presence is a key part of our service offering.

 

We are looking for a resourceful, motivated, and enthusiastic Digital Content Executive with a passion for great stakeholder engagement and customer care. While not responsible for the technical aspects of our digital presence, the candidate will have working knowledge of digital frontend technologies, to use existing solutions, publish daily content with ease, offer simple fixes and implement designs. Our website has a significant Member Login section as well as back-end processing functionality. This is a key role in the delivery of our digital presence, creating engaging content that addresses the needs of our customer personas across various platforms.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • editor of the organisation’s digital presence, managing and publishing daily content.
  • Develop and administer key website, email and social media communications while adhering to marketing best practises.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and associated third parties to create a positive user experience.
  • Optimise customer digital journeys, using appropriate digital tracking strategies.
  • Work with DotNetNuke CMS, MailChimp, Hootsuite, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, chatbot and relevant online tools.
  • Commission articles to assist the editor of the Engineers Journal and our podcast AMPLIFIED.
  • Evaluate current digital content and practices, proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Ensure content is consistent with the company's brand, voice, style and tone.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to assist site developments.
  • Drive target audience engagement.
  • Leverage internal and industry analytical platforms to develop and maintain a suite of reporting KPI’s with appropriate recommendations.
  • Oversee web-editor administration and manage user query emails.
  • Work with and support the broader marketing team in the execution of digital campaigns, special projects and other related duties as a Marketing and Communications Team member.

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of two to three years’ relevant experience in a Marketing/Digital team position
  • A qualification in Marketing, Digital Communications, Journalism, Media, or other relevant discipline
