Early Childhood Educator

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Room Leader at Koala Childcare, where you will be responsible for providing daily care and education to children in your assigned room. Your tasks will include creating lesson plans, implementing educational activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, observing and assessing children's development, and communicating with parents and colleagues. You'll report directly to our manager, Adriana.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Early Years Childcare
• Fluent in English (another language a plus)
• Minimum 2 years in a senior / similar role
• First Aid and Manual Handling certificates are an advantage
• Knowledge of Aistear Framework and Siolta Standards
• Knowledge of child led/Emergent curriculum
• Ability to work in partnership with parents and staff
• Strong communication skills with fluent in English
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
