Responsibilities
- Defining project scope including budgets to ensure projects are fully developed at concept stage
- Providing technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases
- Design and collaborate with other disciplines to create a construction set of documents and work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate electrical equipment
- Design of equipment and infrastructure associated with MV & LV electrical systems
- Design of electrical systems associated with life safety and security systems
- Design & development of control panel layouts, electrical schematics, instrument and control loop drawings, assembly drawings and bill of materials
- Adherence and monitoring of project programmes to include regular progress tracking
- Working with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements
- Reviewing and approving equipment submittals
- Providing technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases
- Overseeing the installation of projects on Customer sites, to include all elements of Quality, Health and Safety and Technical compliance
- Working with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems
- Effective management of all financial and commercial aspects of site related contracts, including variation orders and related Customer/Sub-contractor negotiations
- Work with a team of engineers to ensure tasks are allocated and achieved in accordance with project requirements and in line with the Company’s values, quality standards and business objectives
- Operating as an Ancillary Certifier for the purpose of BC(A)R and undertaking inspections prior to BC(A)R project certification.
