Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2023 at our site in UK or Ireland . You will onboard an individual designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person. As a Trainee here with us, you will get to know our entire business and collaborate with colleagues all over the world. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!
What you will do
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Play an active and crucial role in the digitalisation of Tetra Pak. You will have the opportunity to participate in activities related to "Internet of Things" and automation and information services, in collaboration with our external partners
- be part of the Global Functional Leadership & Support team which consists of engineers from several locations in Europe - one of the goals is to achieve a uniform way of working within Electrical engineering and design to work with our branded Tetra Pak processing and packaging solutions and products in our portfolio including integration with our control system (Tetra Pak Plant Master) - including typically Siemens and Rockwell switchgear and PLC automation hardware
- be based in a local country Tetra Pak office with regular visits to clients and visits to other departments within the organisation - during your integration, you will most likely be tasked with a short assignments in one or more of our Project Centre France, Benelux and North Europe offices
- Be responsible for providing technical support with your expertise in Electrical engineering and design with regard to the development (ideation), sale, installation and implementation of transformation equipment/solutions
- Be responsible the Electrical engineering and design for all elements of our Process and Packaging projects including:
- Electrical low voltage distribution (LV, DP & MCC panels.
- Automation PLC, HMI Remote IO panels design.
- Automation hardware design including safety function hardware design and SIL/Pl calculations and verifications.
- IO, Motor, Power & control cable lists etc.
- Electrical design of the complete Installation including all cable containment routes, MCC rooms layouts, power/control panel locations, all cable types routes and calculations etc.
- Pre-projects required Electrical scope budget costs.
- Request for quotation Electrical scope documentation for supplier quotations
- Manage the installation and carry out quality controls at the customer's premises (mainly in our project center)
- Design, implement and control functional safety in electrical automation technology
- Check the condition of the automation equipment at the supplier's site during the production/construction of the latter (electrical cabinets)
- Prepare the FAT documentation (Factory Acceptance Test) and run the electrical FAT on the shop floor
- Propose design changes/improvements for future projects
- Need to troubleshoot during installation and commissioning on site where and whenever required during the project site phase
- Make changes to the electrical documentation after assembly
We believe you have
- Recently completed or are about to complete (2023 or 2024) your engineering studies (Electrical Engineering electrotechnical specialization, including automation technology), state-certified technician or equivalent and you are ready to take up a full-time position from September 1, 2023
- Have knowledge and/or first experience working with low voltage switchgear.
- Have knowledge and/or first experience working with low voltage switches, PLC hardware, pneumatics
- Have had first experience working on a similar position, having worked with electrical documentation, would be considered an advantage
- Have working experience with drawing packages, Latest E-Plan or AutoCAD would be considered as an advantage
- Have the necessary criteria to travel and work abroad, especially in the EU, with Passport and a valid full driving license
- Demonstrate a mature and professional personality with the ability to create and use an extensive international network
- Are results-oriented with a strong technical interest and analytical skills. You also like teamwork and have good communication skills
- Are looking to use your theoretical knowledge in real-world practical challenges
- Have the ability to simplify, prioritize and innovate
- Have a very good knowledge of English (written and oral)
