Electrical Estimating Engineer

Description:

The CSA Estimator will sit within the group commercial function, and work on bids for large scale projects, predominantly Data centers, located across Ireland, UK and Mainland Europe.

The CSA Estimator will produce an accurate, fully priced bid including a BOQ encapsulating all works required by the Employers Requirements as well as the current market rates at that point in time, for presentation to the Group CSA Estimation Manager

Key responsibilities:

• As part of an established team of Mechanical & Electrical professionals the successful candidate will be involved in the production of competitive tenders / detailed estimates for pre-design or D&B projects
• Advising managers of bid prospects
• Attending pre & post tender interviews
• Complying specialist sub-contract quotes
• Ensuring sub-contractor quotes comply with specification
• Completing take-offs from tender drawings
• Report regularly to management on competitor activity, market trends and any other market dynamics that may be useful to management

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Electrical Estimation, ideally within Industrial,Pharmceutical, Data center sectors
• Data centre CSA commercial experience desirable.
