Employee Relations Associate Manager

 

Description:

The Employee Relations Associate Manager will take ownership of compliance of regulatory requirements and providing advice on employment law, company policy/procedure to Human Resources and Leadership.

The provides direct advisory support to client teams of high complexity. It also includes the development of people policies in line with current and future legislation to meet the needs of Accenture’s business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Give advice on the practical application of company's policy to a given business/individual issue.
  • Ensure legal compliance as it relates to regulatory requirements.
  • Act as case manager for all disciplinary and grievance cases ensuring company policy and procedure are followed and that fair and reasonable outcomes are reached.
  • Develop personal expertise in one or more areas of employment law or Accenture HR practice to provide subject matter expertise to the team.
  • Provide people change solutions to Accenture HR Leadership and any other partners.
  • Take ownership for allocated tasks or lead HR change projects as the need arises.
  • Research and assess any employment claims and present findings to internal and/or external legal counsel to assess risk.
  • Proactively identify the need for new procedures according to business need, standard methodology and changes in legislation.
  • Develop and implement HR Policies and procedures to ensure HR best practice is achieved in all aspects of the business.
  • Develop contacts with retained legal advisors and external organizations involved in legal disputes and litigation.
  • Mentor and provide training to HR Partners to develop their understanding of policy/procedure and employment law and their practical application in the business.
  • Develop and/or roll out training on ER topics for business leads and line managers where required.
  • Provide formal and informal feedback to Investigating Officers as the need arises.

Your Skills:
