Description:
In conjunction with the Director of Informatics the Engagement and Delivery Officer will be responsible for:
- Engaging with all relevant stakeholders across the hospital to agree and deploy the Informatics services roadmap in line with the Hospital's Strategic Ambition, National Objectives and the overall objectives of each of the Hospital Directorates.
- Ensuring that the core principles, processes and priorities of the Informatics Directorate are aligned with the strategic vision for the hospital
- Leading and promoting the Innovation agenda for the hospital in conjunction with the CCIO and wider Informatics Directorate team.
- Accountability and responsibility for the operational running of the informatics services across the campus
- Integrating and developing performance management information frameworks based on robust data management techniques which support pertinent corporate, management and health service operational requirements
- Working with the Chief Data Officer and all stakeholders/service users to design and deliver meaningful data insights to enable the Hospital’s Senior Management team to conduct health planning, make informed decisions.
- Efficiently managing the Engagement and Delivery team and the CCIO team, including workforce planning are a key area of responsibility. To promote best practice by reviewing, auditing and redesigning services in collaboration with colleagues and ensure an efficient service delivery model that is best in class.
- Working with the Operations Managers and Clinical and Corporate Directors to ensure the existing information systems and associated processes and procedures are fit for purpose and utilised effectively.
- Providing support and encouragement in the selection, motivation and development of all staff within the directorate in driving forward service transformation enabled by technology across the hospital.
- Working effectively with the Director of Informatics, the CCIO, the Informatics Directorate management team and members of the Executive Management Team and develop effective partnerships with external organisations and other stakeholders
