Description:
As Asset Integration Engineer, you'll be responsible for facilitating the integration of new wind farms and co-located hydrogen, battery and solar projects from construction to operational phase. These are located in the UK, Ireland and southern Europe across a quickly growing portfolio. You'll be accountable for providing Project Engineering support to the wider Operations Engineering team.
Some of your other main responsibilities will include;
- Contributing to and influencing projects from Gate 0 to ensure compliance with corporate standards and legislative requirements through technical due diligence.
- Developing high level, short to medium term, asset management strategies to optimise and drive efficiencies and deliver best practice.
- Providing technical and project management support to the Onshore Wind operational teams to ensure the business can meet its goals.
- Exploring and identifying market leading Fleet Optimisation and Emerging Technologies.
- An Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline, or extensive experience operating in a similar role.
- Experience managing large capital projects from conception through to delivery, preferably in renewable energy technologies such as wind, battery, hydrogen or solar.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to bring together stakeholders across a multi-disciplinary team in order to drive action.
- An awareness of contracts and legislation relating to construction and generation projects.
- A desire to learn and take on new and innovative challenges in new locations and technologies.
