English Language Teachers from 1st November in Dublin 2

Atlas Language School is recruiting qualified and well-motivated teachers who have experience of working in an ELT or related environment for our general English programmes in Portobello, Dublin 2. The Positions

The adult year-round school is located in Portobello House on the Portobello / Rathmines canal bridge, Dublin 2 and we are recruiting teachers for our ongoing general English fluency (GEF) to start in November. The work would be for 17.67 hours per week, 9am to 12.40pm with the possibility of additional afternoon hours from early 2022 if you are available.

Start Dates

Monday 1st November, and 15th November.

Safeguarding & Garda Vetting

All teachers are required to fill out and return a Garda vetting form prior to confirmation of employment.

Pay

Pay is competitive in the sector and dependent on qualifications and ELT experience. It ranges from 19 Euros per hour to 22.55 Euros per hour.

Qualifications

Applications are welcome from both newly-qualified and experienced teachers. The minimum requirements with respect to qualifications are:

• Level 7 qualification on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications www.nfq.ie - a minimum of an ordinary Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent.

• A QQI (ACELS) recognised 120-hour teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) certification (with a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice included) – for example, a CELTA, Trinity TESOL or CELT (ACELS).
