Equity Compensation Accountant

 

Description:

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the equity compensation programs. You will be responsible for managing stock option plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

🔹Develop & Maintain Stock Plan Processes: This role involves overseeing vital aspects like grants, exercises, replenishment, lapses, and comprehensive tax reporting for RSUs, PSUs, and Stock Options.

🔹Consolidated Group Figures: You'll be instrumental in the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated group figures pertaining to stock compensation and equity.

🔹Global Tax Compliance: Collaborate with both internal finance teams and external advisors to ensure seamless global compliance with tax filing and payment obligations.

🔹Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with global Legal, Finance, and Payroll teams to manage stock transactions, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.

🔹Employee Communications: Craft clear and effective communications for employees regarding stock plans and associated processes.

🔹Finance Team Support: Provide crucial support to the group finance team in the broader monthly consolidation process, ensuring key external filings and facilitating the external audit.

Qualifications

✅ ACA/ACCA qualification with 1-3 years PQE

✅ Big 4 experience (preferred, but not essential).

✅ Stock compensation / share administration experience of benefit

✅ Advanced Excel knowledge.

✅ Stellar communication skills.

✅ Proven ability to excel independently and thrive in a team.
