Description:
The ESG Assurance Manager will be responsible for leading engagements related to sustainability reporting and assurance across all sectors, providing expertise on ESG issues, and working closely with clients to help them improve the transparency and completeness of their sustainability disclosures.

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Strong background in auditing, assurance, data analytics, or regulatory compliance
- Open to learning and developing expertise in sustainability reporting standards; prior experience in this area is not required.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and influence key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and engage with multiple stakeholders.
Role and Reporting Lines
The role will sit in the Sustainability division of the firm, where you will report to Senior Managers and Directors on the team;
- Lead sustainability assurance engagements, including the review and assurance of sustainability/ESG reports and metrics
- Develop and maintain sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks for clients, ensuring alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide independent assurance over sustainability data and reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and reliability
- Keep up to date with evolving global and regional sustainability reporting regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure client compliance with reporting standards e.g. CSRD, GRI, TCFD, CDP, EU Taxonomy, and others
- Advise clients on best practices in sustainability reporting, including data collection, data management systems, and performance tracking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client senior management and external stakeholders
