Field Technician

Description:

We are seeking to hire a Bilingual (French and/or Arabic) Field Technician.

This travel extensive role is responsible for the performance of a variety of electro-mechanical technical services at the customer site including troubleshooting, repair and testing.

Your primary focus of work is to always exceed the customer’s expectations while executing the work in accordance with latest procedures and protocols

This is a GREAT opportunity for someone to work out of our Dublin office, who enjoys traveling while having a strong technical background, and is passionate about keeping our world safe.

• Must be familiar with mechanical and electrical precision measuring tools such as digital multi-meter, amp meter and mechanical precision tools.
• Using schematic diagrams and work instructions to troubleshoot replace and test electrical mechanical line replacement components.
• Receive and review dispatch documentation including work instructions, travel instructions and test protocols.
• Provide verbal and written reports /documents to the individuals and departments responsible for the dispatch.
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with all customer/user sites.
• Manage travel expenses and other administrative duties in accordance with administrative procedures.

Requirements:

• College degree in computer systems, related technologies. or equivalent experience will be considered, instead of a degree.
• Good knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows NT, Windows 2000, XP, 2003.
• 3+ years experience in electromechanical assembly and component repairs, preferably in a field service role.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequent
• Must be fluent in English AND either French and/or Arabic (including, reading and writing).
