Description:
Optimize are proudly partnering with a well-established North Cork Client to recruit a Financial Administrator for their team. This is working within a company who have advanced operational capabilities and offer total efficiency across their international supply chain.
This is a 12-month contract role and will be part of a dynamic Finance team. This role will report to the Finance Manager working full-time from the office.
- Processing of invoices and assisting with issuing of credit notes
- Managing the maintenance and updating of records on internal databases
- Assisting with Month and Year-end processes, reconciliations and analysis
- Maintaining stakeholder relationships by collaborating appropriately as well as cross functional department collaborations
- Managing purchase orders, goods receipts and assisting with any other procurement functions needed
- Assisting with general ledger duties including posting journals
- Other daily and ad hoc finance related duties as delegated by the finance team
- Managing the distribution of deliveries and postage orders to appropriate employees
- Supporting and assisting with administration tasks for the wider finance team and senior management team as required
- Co-ordinating visitors onsite and Auditors, this includes welcoming and ensuring completion of correct documentation
- Managing the scheduling of meetings and calendar updates for upcoming bookings for meeting rooms
- Screening and answering phone calls as well as keeping reception clean and tidy
- Other daily and ad hoc administrative duties as requested by management
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Good attention to detail and understanding of accounts
