Finance Administrator

 

Description:

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate should be someone who thrives in a busy and fast-paced office environment with experience in managing project costs and profitability. We are looking for someone self-motivated, can identify improvements and implement efficiencies in areas they are responsible for and have a proven ability to manage their workload and meet deadlines.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead the sales invoicing process and prepare individual invoices
  • Accounts receivable – credit control and solving queries
  • Accounts payable, payments and creditors reconciliations
  • Completing of monthly bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns and reconciliations
  • Monitoring work-in-progress and working with project managers to hit financial targets
  • Assisting with monthly cost reviews and identifying opportunities for savings
  • Preparing KPI reports

Requirements

  • Strong computer IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting packages (Accounts IQ and Rapport 3 experience an advantage)
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team in a busy office environment and work on their initiative
  • Have a proven track record in organisational ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive in approach with a can-do attitude and must work well within a team environment
  • Excellent communicator with a professional demeanour
