My client who is a company based just outside of Dublin City Centre is looking for a Finance Business Partner. This company was founded in Ireland just short of 20 years ago, with a staff in excess of 500, constantly growing and aggressively inquisitive in acquisitions. Due to the continued growth of their operations, they are hiring for a newly created position in the business, a Finance Business Partner.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of monthly and annual accounts.
- Development and review of relevant KPI’s.
- Preparation of budgets for financial years & other projects/capital spend.
- Supporting the roll-out of a continuous quality improvement programme.
- Increased revenue through the growth and retention of customers, new service initiatives and 3rd party relationships.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues from different disciplines.
- To work closely with regional leaders and the senior management team.
- Key role to deliver the agreed business targets for their area while having an awareness on ways to further improve.
- Develop the annual budget to plan day to day service performance as well as service transformation projects (to include resource requirements, capital expenditure, and any other operational factors that will impact).
- Work with the Shared Service Finance team to ensure timely completion of monthly and annual accounts.
- Managing the integration of new business.
- Work closely with the Regional Leads & PAS implementation team to develop, deploy & maintain an efficient & effective PAS solution that is scalable across the Group.
About you:
- Qualified accountant with experience ( 3+ years) in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communicator with experience of being able to communicate commercial issues in a way to get buy-in from diverse teams without a finance background.
- Experience of working with diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Skills in project management.
- Big 4 background is preferable.
- Ability to extract, understand and interpret data to drive change.
- Strong IT skills (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook) with an ability to learn systems quickly and to trouble shoot effectively.
