The Opportunity
To work as part of the Management Reporting team with primary responsibility for the analysis and interpretation of financial and management data; to provide support and insights to the Finance function to aid decision making, performance monitoring, planning and control.
This role will report into the Finance Manager, Management Reporting Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing several financial models to support planning and annual and rolling forecasts
- Build, maintain and document data and management information models from source data with appropriate controls to support analysis and provide insight and dashboard analysis to senior management.
- Monitoring the organization’s financial performance through the analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends.
- Implementing technical tools to improve financial analysis process and the provision of timely accurate information as required for regular or ad hoc requests.
- Coordinate and complete corporate planning activities with cost owners, stakeholders and provide analysis and insights for BoM and group as part of the Corporate Planning process.
- Coordinate with Pricing Team on product profitability analysis and cost allocation impact to ensure appropriate and consistent allocation methods and process as part of the Corporate Planning process.
- Complete monthly and year end expense account process and preparation of analysis and returns as needed.
- Liaising with Group and key stakeholders on productivity initiatives for opportunities to quantify potential impact and monitor and report on delivery.
- Assist Finance Manager with preparation of reports and presentations for Board of Management and relevant Committee meetings and represent the Management Reporting team at cross functional meetings as may be required.
- Evaluating and suggesting enhancements to improve reports and data processing and assisting in projects to improve the efficiency, quality and accuracy of data for decision making.
