Description:
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team and play an important role in the continued development of the finance function and change programs. They will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts for review. They will assist with budget settings, long term planning and regulatory returns. Operating as part of a team is key requirement, with the flexibility to respond to various tasks as required.
Responsibilities will include (but is not limited) to the following
➢ Managing and development of a small team with responsibility for AP /Banking /Tax /P&L and Balance Sheet reporting along with general day to day finance tasks
➢ Preparation of monthly management accounts with meaningful commentary and analysis in line with Derrycourt timelines
➢ Produce monthly KPI’s and other metrics as required
➢ Oversee internal controls, audits, financial reporting requirements
➢ Ensuring effective internal controls are in place
➢ Drive continuous improvement processes across the team (and business?)
➢ Identifying & mitigating business risks
➢ Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling, etc
➢ Commercial analysis for client portfolios and tenders
➢ Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company
