As a FP &A Continental Europe Finance Manager, Europe you will be responsible for the effective business partnering to Continental European Senior Management Team.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Being responsible for the European month-end process and financial outlooks, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to Senior EU Leadership and Corporate
- Being responsible for providing CE lead team with ongoing variance analysis of actual results, budget and estimates via close liaison with Continental Europe Finance teams.
- Consolidates, analyses and challenges country financials as part of the budgeting and planning processes. Works in close collaboration and alignment with Continental Europe Finance teams to drive accuracy and growth in value.
- Coaching Continental European Finance team to develop a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence. Drive finance capabilities across the region.
- Drive efficiencies and standardization across Continental EU markets in their Ways of Working.
- Be the business co-pilot for the CE Snr Finance Director creating Analysis and Insights into Continental Europe business performance/trends including risks and opportunities to facilitate the development of action plans and decision making.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Educated to degree level, Finance/Accounting qualification and significant work experience.
- Thorough knowledge of financial processes, including planning and analysis. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Strong understanding of P &L
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, local statutory and Sarbanes-Oxley S404
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access, and deep Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Great influencing, analytical and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills: ability to work well with others in a team environment, work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and develop relationship at multiple levels.
Preferred
- Proficient knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems (e.g. SAP, BPC, Anaplan)
- Previous experience supporting a Senior Finance Team
- Experience of working in a fast paced, cross functional environment with tight turnaround times
