Finance Manager

Description:

Our client is a leading company in the construction industry, and they are on the lookout for a Finance Manager, to join their team in Dublin.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the reliable, complete, and timely recording of this company's Financial activities. You will also be responsible for the correct design of administrative processes and the coordination of the set up of the new ERP system within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial results reports, adhering to Group requirements and reporting standards set by Group.
• Conducted analysis comparing actual results to budgeted figures.
• Reviewed financial ledgers and balanced sheet reconciliations for accuracy.
• Managed fixed asset registers and ensured accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepared and submitted quarterly VAT returns and supported internal and external audit inquiries.
• Researched technical accounting issues to ensure compliance and maintained awareness of tax regulations.

Requirements:

• Finance degree or similar qualification.
• +5 years’ experience in Financial Management/Accounting roles or related
• Experience coordinating the implementation of the ERP package (non-technical)
• Sage finance system.
