Financial Accountant

A growing South Dublin based Industry SME is currently hiring for a Financial Accountant. It is an exciting time to join this firm as they are going through a round of funding to expand their client base. The role covers 2 group entities.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing day to day finance function including accounts payable
• Reporting on Debtors and Creditors ledgers
• Handling of accruals and prepayments
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of month-end management accounts
• Coordinate with external auditors
• Assist in the development of systems
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required

The role would suit a recently qualified accountant with good all-around accountancy experience either from industry or a smaller practice. The role reports directly to the Head of Finance, whom themselves joined 2 years as a Financial Accountant and has since had multiple promotions. You will get involved in a broad range of projects including future acquisitions and defining the business strategy. The Private Equity firm that invested in the firm recently has said was it is an excellent Irish business which is looking well beyond Covid-19.
