Financial Accountant

Barden are delighted to be exclusively working with our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing Irish company who are looking to hire a financial accountant to join their evolving finance function. This will be a key hire for the company where you will be working closely with a high-calibre Head of Finance on all aspects of finance as the company continues to expand.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Responsible for the month-end reporting process for the group;
• Preparation of consolidated reports for the business;
• Working closely with the auditors on key reporting deadlines;
• Assist with due diligence of future acquisitions by the business;
• Dealing with tax returns, VAT, Intrastat etc.;
• Assist with the preparation of board reports for the group;
• Ad-hoc projects and key involvement in system improvements.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word;
• Strong technical accounting ability;
• Hardworking, detailed oriented and results focused;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to act on own initiative and as part of a tight-knit team.
