The Digital Advice Team is currently embarking on an ambitious growth agenda to match changing customer attitudes and expectations around the provision of Financial Advice. To support this growth, we are looking for a number of Financial Planning Advisors to provide professional financial advice to customers utilising our Remote Advice technology. The role presents an exciting challenge for the right individual and can lead to career growth and progression. The role is based on our Dundalk offices, but in line with changing customer demands the role offers Advisors hybrid working patterns.
The primary objective of the Digital Financial Advisor is to provide professional advice to individuals on their financial needs through the Irish Life financial advice process, with adherence to Irish Life compliance standards.
Key Accountabilities
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop digital advice relationships with new and existing customers across multiple sources of business
- Provide professional best advice in developing clear financial plans for new and existing clients, while delivering superior customer satisfaction
- Conduct professional financial reviews with customers over Microsoft Teams and recommend products in adherence to Irish Life compliance standards
- Inbound/Outbound advice and sales to new and existing customers
- Proactively protect, maintain and develop existing Client Bank
- Work to agreed targets and standards
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory and professional requirements
- Adhere to appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor and report on business activities
- Capacity to answer a wide range of queries and solve problems for customers
- Communicate complex financial matters to customers in layman terms
- Keep up to date with all changes in the commercial environment and completes Continual Professional Development (CPD) on an ongoing basis
Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following:
- At least three years’ relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written & listening
- Strong relationship development skills - experience in dealing with customers using remote technologies is an advantage but not essential
- Highly motivated to success in an advice / sales environment, with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- High level of organisational ability working across multiple tasks
- Advice experience & track record a distinct advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements of Irish Life and the Central Bank
- Excellent telephone manner and etiquette
- Strong technical and systems skills – eg CRM systems, video conferencing tools
- Ability to present a strong professional image of Irish Life
