Financial Analyst

Hunter Savage are working with a leading global organisation in Dublin city centre on their recruitment of a Financial Analyst. This is a brand new role within the company and will report directly to the Finance Manager on a dedicated project to analyse how the company operates and how they can improve their financial controls, reporting and processes.

This is a very technical role and will suit someone who is tech-savvy, agile, adaptable and enjoys systems work in a financial environment.

• Work with the finance and IT teams to analyse data, recommend and implement systems improvements and changes.
• Provide ongoing monthly reports to monitor performance and use this to ensure continuous improvement
• Mentor junior members of the team and help them to develop their skill set
• Participate in special projects to improve the relationship between the IT systems and financial reporting function
• Internal stakeholder management between departments
• Take ownership and lead ad hoc project work
• ACA / ACCA qualified accountant – newly qualified to 2 yrs PQE
• Exemplary IT and systems skills (some implementation experience would be a bonus)
• Excellent analytical skills paired with strong communication
• A good combination of team work and individual motivation is required
• Ideally you will come from a Big 4 / Top 10 or data-driven background
