Financial Analyst

There is currently one whole time Specified Purpose vacancy available at the Dublin Midlands Hospital Group.

A panel may be created for Grade VII – Financial Analyst, Dublin Midlands Hospital Group, from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.

To play a key role in supporting the change effort relating to IFMS. Support and be a member of the implementation team for the group, assisting in the changeover to IFMS for individual hospitals within the Group. Supporting the Group Finance Department in month end management reporting, forecasting, the Annual Estimates process, National Service Plan and Annual Budgeting cycle.

The post holder will play an active role in the provision of analysis, financial reports and interpretation on the performance of the Hospitals within the Group.

Candidates must have at the latest date of application

• Significant experience of working in a busy finance role in a large organisation managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines.

• Significant experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis.

• Significant experience of preparing, reporting, analysing and manipulating financial data and producing summary reports, tables and presentations, including using MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

• Experience of managing and developing a team.
