Description:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client’s team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in financial controlling, accounting, with experience in AUS, UK, NZ, or Irish financial regulations.
This role requires expertise in managing accounts payable, ensuring timely supplier payments, and overseeing business cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time
• Monitor and optimize business cash flow to support operational needs
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, suppliers, etc.
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of experience in financial controlling, or accounting
• Experience working within AUS, UK, NZ, or Irish financial regulations
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management and accounts payable processes
• Proficiency in accounting and financial software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB
