Financial & Payroll Accountant

Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join a market leader in digital commerce in their respected field with a company listed on the Irish stock exchange. As Financial Accountant, you will be accountable to the Accounting Manager for processing and delivering correct and timely information on the financial and operational performance. As a member of a small, energetic finance team, you will assist in creating management information, monthly financial reports, and external financial reports. You will be working for a FinTech company with the role being office based once a week and the other four days WFH.

Responsibilities

• Accounts for payroll (including accurate allocation of payroll costs across projects)

• Reconciliations among corporations

• P&L analysis and variance finding

• Taking part in the yearly audit procedure

• Assistance in preparing the annual report and the financial statements

• Aiding the Group Tax Manager with the reporting of payroll taxes

• Create effective working connections with the necessary departments and stakeholders.
• Top 10 trained and certified ACCA/ACA
• Strong technical accounting abilities and thorough understanding of IFRS
• The capacity for independent work and the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially the capacity to study and deconstruct difficult circumstances.

• A self-starter who collaborates effectively to accomplish team objectives.

• Strong oral and written communicator with good interpersonal skills.
