Description:
Our client is a multinational company that is part of a leading group within it's sector. They are establishing an increased presence in Ireland and inviting an experienced F&A accounting professional to join their international finance team on a fully remote basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will suit an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional. Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in planning and reviewing budgets, focusing on market assumptions, cost environment, and performance metrics;
- Interpreting and analysing large data sets to gather commercial insights;
- Develop financial models to facilitate with the budgeting and strategic planning process;
- Analyse company performance, in terms of historical data, forecasts and industry benchmarks;
- Lead the development of strategic planning and liaising with senior management;
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheet and cash slow statements;
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and other specialists;
- On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional or qualified by experience;
- Minimum 3 years experience within a commercial role;
- Experience in the use of data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI);
- Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team;
- Confidence to address challenges as they arise;
- Advanced excel with previous knowledge of financial modelling;
