The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to the Fineos development team, setting the technical direction and ensuring best practices are followed
- Design and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements
- Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improvements
- Design, Develop and test Fineos applications
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards.
- Work with QA team to ensure that all applications are thoroughly tested.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Key Skills/knowledge/experience
- Experience in Designing, Developing and testing Fineos applications
- Strong knowledge of Fineos Architecture and data model
- Proficient in Fineos programming languages (e.g., FPL, FPK)
- Experience working with Java & SQL
- Experience with Fineos integrations like web services and APIs
- Experience in working with Integrated Disability & Absence Management
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent technical leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring teams
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Extensive relevant experience
- Good communication and analytical skills
