Fis Opf Architect

 

Description:

Cogency Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FIS OPF Architect to join our team. The FIS OPF Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions utilizing the FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) to meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and implementing solutions within the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of payment systems and technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging the FIS OPF platform.
  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions using FIS OPF, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the implementation and customization of FIS OPF solutions, including configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of FIS OPF solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to payment systems and financial services.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide expertise and support during client engagements, including requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience working in the financial services industry, with a focus on payment systems and technologies.
  • Extensive experience architecting and implementing solutions utilizing the FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF).
  • Strong understanding of payment processing concepts, including card payments, electronic funds transfers (EFT), and real-time payments (RTP).
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
