Reporting to the Housing Maintenance Manager, the Housing Maintenance Foreman will manage housing maintenance for assigned areas of Limerick City and County. The Foreman will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way, ensuring that all decisions and actions comply with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures. The Foreman is responsible for the repair and maintenance of assigned Housing Stock, Apartment Buildings and Traveller Accommodation (and other Buildings under the management of the Service Operations Department). The Foreman must supervise and lead maintenance staff in an effective manner and ensure the level of morale is maintained. The Foreman must also respond to concerns and complaints of tenants in a positive and courteous manner. In terms of Emergency Call Outs, the Foreman will form part of a Team scheduled on a rota basis to deliver an Emergency Call Out Service on at least 1 week per month basis, (this can be subject to change at any time in the future).
