Real People Recruitment is helping a FMCG retail supply company, based near Finglas hire a Forklift driver. This role is a day shift role, Monday to Friday working from 08:30 to 17:30

• Job Title: Forklift (Counterbalance and Reach) operative
• Location: Finglas, North Dublin
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 08:30 - 17:30
• Salary/Pay: €25,000 - €28,000 per year

This is a full-time Permanent role working evening hours from Monday - Friday, with some flexibility involved. Ideally, the company wants people to work permanently with the company, so this role should be considered a full time, permanent role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the forklift driver will be a key member of a very successful department where they will help ensure the objectives and targets continue to be achieved. The successful candidate will be goal orientated, highly determined, self-disciplined with a 'can do' 'will do' attitude.

Key Accountabilities:
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, pallet area, and workstations neat; Maintaining clean incoming/shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintaining inventory controls by stock taking and cycle counting.
Maintaining all areas of Health & Safety relevant to the working environment & teams.
Candidates will be expected to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and comply fully with the company's policy and procedures.
Create an environment orientated to trust, open communication, & cohesive team effort.
Dealing with queries from buyers, customer service and customers.
Involved in the planning and supervision.
Responsible for tracking of consumables on computer systems.
Making sure that products are produced/packed on time and are of good quality.
Working with managers to implement the company's policies, procedures and goals.
Identifying training needs and supporting new team members in working through an induction program.

Requirements:
Previous Warehouse and Forklift (Counterbalance or Reach) experience an advantage.
Excellent Communication Skills with team and management
Good command of the English language.
