Full Stack Developer

LivTours is a fast growing business providing travel experiences in 26 destinations across Europe. We are a small, highly productive team and despite being in business for over 10 years, still maintain a flexible and creative start-up vibe.

As a tech-driven company, we are looking for a dynamic and creative individual who is interested in working with a range of programming languages who can support our CTO and our small but growing technical team in the development of all our platforms and help develop new cutting-edge solutions.

The main task will be to work with Haskell and Purescript to improve all aspects of our internal platform and booking engine. Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript is considered a plus.

You'll need to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a semi-virtual, cross-functional environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency with Haskell and Purescript
• Strong functional programming fundamentals
• Ability to adapt to real world needs while writing robust and correct code
• Git & Github
• PostgreSQL
• Basic understanding of Docker
• 2 years experience working with functional programming
• Public repositories showing your development practices
• A passion for software development, and able to think from a customer perspective when creating technical solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High work ethic, with excellent time-management and organisational skills.
