General Practice Manager

Description:

Gort Medical Centre, a private practice based in Gort, Co. Galway, is looking to hire a Business Manager to run the business operations of our medical practice.

Principle Responsibilities

Reporting to the Partners, to provide leadership to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective work environment. The main focus will be to manage the administrative and support activities for the practice and supervise the administrative staff to deliver structure and efficiency.

Requirements

• A third level business degree or equivalent, preferable but not essential.

• Management and leadership qualities, preferably in the healthcare sector, with good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

• An understanding of or HR and applicable legislation is desirable

• Ability to work well and effectively with others and promote positive Teamwork

• Self motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

• Solid understanding of finance management and accounting

• Strong ethos of operating in a confidential and professional manner.

• Excellent IT skills and highly competent in systems and programmes and a working knowledge of Social Medial/Marketing.
