Description:
The primary aim of this position is to gather, oversee, and validate all geographical information pertinent to the project, providing GIS expertise to support project packages.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, geography, surveying, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role (essential experience in OFFSHORE wind/maritime)
- Proficiency in the QGIS mapping tool
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Based in Poland
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Manage daily geographic information in relation to project development and construction.
- Generate maps and visualizations from diverse data sources.
- Ensure project deliverables and metadata adhere to prescribed formats.
- Provide spatial analysis support to project packages.
- Guide the project in GIS development.
- Execute geospatial data management using a QGIS model, including collection, validation, analysis, and distribution to stakeholders.
- Design and integrate databases based on geographical specifications.
- Identify and rectify errors within GIS networks, software, and hardware components.
- Conduct 2D and 3D spatial analyses, such as interpreting seabed survey data.
- Map, visualize, and distribute data for EPCI packages.
- Continuously digitize and develop internal workflows in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Communicate GIS development with senior managers and executives.
- Direct the project in the development of GIS and geospatial utilities.
