Geriatric Nurse

Description:

We are looking for a geriatric nurse for vacancy in muscat Oman for a high profile family

The following are the key responsibilities:

• Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding.

• Following prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise, administering medication, and massage.

• Will do housekeeping of the patient, ensuring the home is organized according to the needs and safety measures are in place.

• Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary task.

• Providing mobility assistance will be required, such as helping in and out of the bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.

• Monitoring and Escorting to medical appointments.

• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.

Key criteria’s:

• Professional, Patient, flexible, zero attitude and positive, immaculate hygiene is must.

• Good communication skills.

• Further education may be beneficial

• Job experience and CPR training.

• Must have excellent presentation and work to meticulous attention to detail and good work ethic.

• Ability to multitask and use initiative.

• A willingness to work flexible hours, which includes night shifts and long hours.
